Armour expand into new markets, we are looking for the right candidates to join our dynamic team.

1. Sales Support Assistant

We have a vacancy for a sales support assistant to shore up the sales team here at Armour. Someone who enjoys meeting and talking to people, and with a strong administrative background. Some duties include answering enquiries about books, liaising with book retailers, fulfilling orders and deliveries, both locally and overseas as well. Producing reports, updating databases, assisting in daily operations of the sales, marketing and distribution team where necessary.

You will be proficient in English and Chinese is an advantage, excel at MS Office applications, have good interpersonal and communication skills, be a team player, teachable and able to handle stress and have a cheery disposition.

2. Editor/Project Manager


  • Edit manuscripts for content and language
  • Manage projects, authors, designers and pool of freelancers
  • Evaluate book ideas and assist in the planning of new titles


  • At least two years of editorial experience
  • Degree in English Language/Mass Communications and/or Postgraduate Diploma in Education Programmes
  • Well-organised, meticulous and with strong initiative
  • Possess strong project management skills
  • Able to deliver high-quality work under demanding deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Prior experience in teaching and education will be advantageous




3. Sales Executive


  • Identify new potential customers and generate new business opportunities in school sector
  • Responsible to promote and secure orders for assigned products to achieve sales targets
  • Establish and maintain business and customer relationships
  • Solicit constructive feedback on our products and services
  • To monitor industry activities for potential improvements in business strategies for our products and services
  • Explore new channels of business development


  • Diploma in Sales & Marketing / Business
  • Sales experience especially in the school sector (Preschools, Student Care Centres, Local, International and Private schools)
  • Experience in either Trade or Education or both a plus advantage
  • Possess own vehicle
  • Proficient in MS Office application
  • Teamwork and with a keen learner attitude


  • To achieved allotted sales target
  • To service existing and expand school sector
  • To secure booklist adoptions in the primary school sector for assessments
  • To secure the supply of books for primary and preschool reading curriculum programme



4. Contract Publishing Executive


  • Identify, prospect and pitch for contract publishing contracts
  • Prepare and submit proposals and quotations as part of the pitching process
  • Oversee and manage contract publishing projects to ensure timely publication
  • Liaise with clients on project matters and provide briefs to the editorial team
  • Collaborate with the editorial team and/or freelancers to deliver the quality publication that the client desires
  • Meet or exceed monthly and annual projected targets stipulated in the Company’s budget


  • A tertiary qualification with at least 2 years of experience in business development/sales
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • A high level of integrity with excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to details
  • A strong command of language and excellent copyediting skills would be an advantage
