John Roxborogh taught at Seminari Theoloji Malaysia from 1983 to 1990 and has been a regular visitor to Malaysia since. He was a minister of the Presbyterian Church of Aotearoa New Zealand and has served in parish ministry as well as theological education at Laidlaw College in Auckland and the Knox Centre for Ministry and Leadership in Dunedin New Zealand. He studied electrical engineering at the University of Auckland, did his Bachelor of Divinity at the University of Otago and completed doctoral studies at the University of Aberdeen. He writes on missiological and historical themes and has a special interest in documentation and archives for Christian mission. He and his wife Jenny live in Dunedin, New Zealand.
