Struggle is the common experience of humanity. While on the outside, our lives appear to be all in place, yet what the world does not see are the struggles we face on the inside. No matter how successful someone may seem on the outside, strip away the veneer and seek them out when they are alone, and we will find that within the closet of our souls, we all struggle. The honest truth is that many of us are just struggling to survive each day. And sometimes we feel like giving up, throwing in the towel.
How can we rise above our struggles to become who we were truly meant to be? Christ gives us the blueprint when He said, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind” and “You shall love your neighbour as yourself.” (Matthew 22:37–39). Built upon these verses, Transformed to Transform gives us a framework that is centred upon the building of three key relationships—our relationship with God (upward), with ourselves (inward), and with others (outward). These relationships form the basis of the five-step process of Faith, Surrender, Intimacy, Self-Leadership and Ministry. This is a clear and practical roadmap that leads us from where we are to where we want to be. As we daily practise the five-step process, we will enter into the transformational and victorious life of Christ to make an impact for God in these uncertain times.
